Ok, am I correct in saying that the FDS never stated Armegedon was coming in 75'? However, they led everyone to believe it was coming in 75'?
If the latter question is true, can you provide links to talks or articles that point to this? The amount of people that left after 75' is just to great to ignore.

In print, they dry-humped the hell outta 1975 and walked away with a wet spot on the front of their pants. But now they're like, "WHAT? There was no penetration!"
From what I understand, though, there were plenty of public speakers - representatives of the WT - who did penetrate.
I remember all the hype and anticipation at the time...now those same JWs deny they proclaimed that in 1975. If the 'Society' never promoted it (as they claim) they had a respoonsibility to 'counsel'/correct the thinking and preaching of it in the 1970s. However, I suspect it was a time of financial growth for the WT, so they turned a blind eye then blamed the R&F.

They said Armageddy would come before the end of the 20th century ("Nations shall Know" book), and that the preaching work would finish before then too.

What the org is reaaly saying is it's not our fault we're just relaying what jehovah and jesus are telling us so i guess their just screwin with the org cause they can.
