..on my head. In some small way I think I understand one reason for shaving new recruits or prisoners. As I did it I felt sick in my stomach and it felt like I was losing some of my personality. I never realised it would affect me that way. I was in shock afterwards. Mrs Q. Was not happy either. Very strange experience.Didn't help that I cut myself to ribbons as well. Ho hum.

Hubby shaves all of his hair off once or twice a year whenever the mood hits him. I don't mind. It's his hair. I had the hubby shave off my hair again three years ago. Couldn't afford to upkeep and both hubby and I like it short. Right now my hair is about 1/4" long. It's time for a trim.

I shaved my head a few years ago (had something to do with a Superbowl wager). I liked the low maintenance and it felt good. It took about 5 weeks to grow back. I still keep it very short.

FYI, I shave my head about every month. No hair maintenance on my part except shampooing.
