After the date, she emailed me and she said "You are the best", but we never dated again. Is it a code phrase or something? I emailed her back after her email and tried to date her again, but I never heard from her again and Someone told me very recently that she is still alive and doing fine.

Maybe she heard you refer to her as a "chick."

I read the title of this thread before I saw who posted it but instantly knew it had to be "iamnotcool"

There must be a reason why you have such an abysmal record with women. I wonder what in the world it could be.

I am still learning how to please women. At least I tried. There are times I do not like some certain ladies and I do not keep in touch with them. My problem is that I am too picky. I hope I will find someone soon, hopefully LTR.

Cool, I think her saying that was kinda like the guys who say "I'll call you". They don't mean it. It's too bad people can't be more direct.

If you don't want a second date, are you very open with the woman, or do you avoid being direct?

And you often say you are picky. Do you mean about looks, personality, money? specifics, please.

If I do not want a second date, I just do not get in touch with her anymore.

Well, a little bit of everything. I will know who I am looking for. I just cannot explain it.
