Thanks for the link. Interesting how his 2 sons received a much higher education. Wonder if the WTS looked the other way on that one?

Intriguing how their (his and his two sons ) "volunteer" work in the community is touted.

So he's got 40 years of experience as a trial lawyer and still lost?
That must have been one heck of a compelling case put up by the plaintiff's attorneys.
His post-trial comments as reported in the press reflect that he isn't used to losing.

Meanwhile, thousands of bright young JWs, whose vocations should have been medicine, law, business, etc., spent their prime educational years in full-time service learning no particular marketable skills. Turns out that, even among those who wish to remain JWs, actually following the JW advice is a sucker's bet.

Accordin' to the WTS McCabe is waistin' his time volunteering outside of the preachin' work
" Government by God is the only real solution to the problems of mankind
The problems that need to be resolved require power, abilities, and qualities that no human posses. God can free mankind from the influence of the Devil and his demons, and He has promised to do so, but no human can. God has made provision to do what medical science could never accomplish_remove sin, thus ending sickness and death and making it possible for people to be the kind of persons that they really want to be. The Creator has the needed knowledge to solve the problems of food production and to prevent dangerous pollution, but human efforts often create more problems."
" When will God's Kingdom clear out the present world system? see the main headings " Dates" and " last days "_______Reasoning from theScriptures book pages 155-156
McCabe is supposed to be " waitin' on the Kingdom " instead of volunteering

Exactly, Sulla!
I know of some whose high school counselors had to browbeat the parents into allowing their children to attend college.
A shame.

Hah! My parents went up against the board of Education and got 'medical dispensation' to get me out of school... grrrr The high school counsellors tried to 'save me', but to no avail.
re this:
He also practices Trusts and Estste?
Hey, that means is he also behind Watchtower's scheme of defrauding elderly JWs of their assets?!
Yah, blindnomore, that's what I was thinking, too.
