    I can only wish them bad luck in their mission. And this means things like having most of the householders happy to waste their resources, no one being interested, getting run out of complexes, and even having the odd Satanist giving them a run for their money. Perhaps, since they are totally defenseless and scared of Satan (who is not even the real enemy), that would stop them cold. After running into a Satanist, they might take the next random piece of bad luck as Satan persecuting them and run scared, hopefully slowing them down in field circus.

    And the ones that are stupid enough to actually increase their field circus can enjoy a dose of real bad luck. And I mean in the form of wasting all their money on gas, so they don't have anything invested in the coming collapse of the economy. And that form of bad luck will be their own fault--they cannot blame poor Satan for themselves not preparing for trouble ahead.

    Why hasn't CNN picked up on this? http://www.cnn.com/feedback/tips/ I emailed them, who knows if anything will happen. I toured CNN headquarters in Atlanta. That is a huge operation. Unless they get a whole lot of feedback from viewers requesting this story be covered, nothing will happen. You should see all of the desks and levels of people that a news tip has to go through and be vetted before it is kicked up to a senior story producer for possible airing.

    As to hearing about anything in field service, I agree with Blondie, As a regular pioneer during some of that time, I rarely heard anything about the Dateline program. MSNBC has the story but was it aired or just online?

    The witnesses are totally spinning this news as a "sign" of the beginning of the end.What simpletons! And for the rcord,It was never fun going out in service for most of us,I think.Im so glad to see them geeting the bad press they deserve!So very glad!!!

    I wouldn't want to be a JW out in field service either. But, sadly, the few JWs that I know are in a news blackout and have little or no idea about this lawsuit or the pedophile scandal in general. Not only that, some individuals out in the world do not necessarily watch the news with any regularity. Maybe they watch the weather, general headlines and the stock market. So, not everybody out in the world is knowledgeable about this particular news item.

    The JWs I know would try to defend the religion to a householder and would say something along the lines that this was an "isolated incident' because they either cannot or will not see that the religion they spent so many years in could possibly be wrong.
