Two things that really bothere me about the drama were: 1. These were high school kids looking to get married??!!

    2. In the part when they are grown up the "bad boy" of the drama is playing ball with one of his non JW friends, the "wordly" guy is telling the non baptized JW that his life was soooo much better when he was going to the meetings and he should really go bacak cause the wordly guy saw such a change in him. Since when do non JW's encourage JW's to go to the meetings? Totally unrealistic...

    "What Is True Love?"

Well obviously we can count on a bunch of uneducated, out-of-touch, old geezers that have never had real jobs, most of 'em have never had families and that don't know the meaning of words like "true" or "love" to teach us about "True Love".

    Makes perfect sense to me!

There's usually a biblical half of the drama.

Traditionally it would be a short intro set in modern times, and then 85% of the drama would be a biblical story that was relevant to the issue raised in the beginning. And then a conclusion set in modern times where they all learned a valuable lesson.

What was the biblical portion of the drama this year?

no bible portion, just a stupid, unrealisitic "love story"

Sounds like a soap opera. I thought those were forbidden to JWs!

TD and Yanbiblian, thanks I'll try again. My wife is interested in hearing it also. She's waiting on me for over 15 years while I did congregation stuff.

They were both interested in the congregation 'bad boy' who was handsome and athletic,

All handsome athletic boys are bad! Of course he would not be a nerd with glasses and dandruff and smelly feet.

How else are they going to marry off some of those brothers?

    sorry guys!

Apparently that is a problem in JW-dum. (My wife and myself being a case in point.) And realistically, you can't blame an Elder's daughter who's seen just how little time her father had for the family for wanting something different.

    That's a first right?

Last year they used a 'bible based' story which wasn't actually even in the bible.

This year, no bible at all.

And JWs never have unhappy marriages or get divorced, right?
