Ok, now it's official Jonesy, i don't know ANY of the songs you listed above (lol) and a few of the other folks listings as well.
Thought I might share with you though what someone said to me quite a while back when we were discussing songs that we like, after I mentioned a few "sistahgirl" said to me" why you like all that white folks music" to which I replied "why shouldn't I" . . . her answer was just a blank stare.
LoL, I've gotten a few of those comments too from "folks". I'm too old to care anymore. The dj I met was a white guy and he didn't bat an eye when he saw me, a 40 something 6' tall 200+ lb black woman in all her glory. I instantly liked him.
