I have learned there are a lot of really cool people on this site who share many of the same experiences and opinions as I. I learned that I was in a cult.
Apostates are regular people leading normal lives.
Corrupt Elders are all over the country.
There are others that hated field service as much as me.
The Governing Body is a group of sexually repressed old men.
I learned about the inner workings of elder meetings and judicial committees
I learned a lot of the history of the humble beginnings of the JWs to the soul-sucking, bloated corporation it is today
I also am happy to learn from reading other experiences that people are "waking up" and leaving the JWs no matter how long they have been in the cult or how involved they were.
