Would you say they have a heavy "delusional" cross to bare? While it can be exilerating I supose on the one hand,,,still they must be stuffing all kinds of stuff in their "shadow"(jungian). I would have to imagine them all functioning at a very low level of consciousness do to the extreme amount denial operating in their psyche . Of coarse to keep the dellusion alive they must slate all opposition as evil and to be silenced as much as possible,, only fellow delusionaries share their presents,, as the outside world is marked as "off limits" and the realm of God's great averary the Devil. Only those loyal to the almighty organization and it's legal corparations do they rub sholder lest they have to admit their delusion as simple normal people of the world not under the WT trance can clearly see.

It has become a self-fullfilling prophecy.
We must be the only channel between God and man because we were taught that we are the only channel between God and man.

I have to continue to believe Ray's words that they are "captives of a concept" because I have no evidence to go on otherwise.
I look at my own relatives who are still in. They have no other frame of reference. My father spends all of his time around other JWs, nobody is there to challenge his belief system. It is as though they live in a walled off community, interacting with other people who think exactly like they think.
It has to be like that but muliplied several times over for the GB. Underlings probably toss any opposition they receive in the mail in the trash. They are like rock stars at DCs and branch offices around the world. Why would they ever think they are "wrong" in their teachings with millions of "yes-men" and "yes-women" surrounding them 24/7?
Ca$h is their only obstacle. Unless Candace Conti times 100 comes to pass, they will carry on as usual.

the gb are not delusional, they are simply liars, the believers are delusional.

I have to disagree - the current GB is probably just as delusional (probably more so) than many rank & file believers. I agree that Rutherford, and probably Knorr, were self serving liars. This current GB - I doubt it. I don't think they are smart enough to have any agenda like Rutherford did.

Hitler once said man will swallow any lie provided it's big enough, he knew too well that he had to deceive his romain catholic people, still his objective was lunacy to say the least, and many died, today ww2 is just vague memory and after 6 more generations it will just be in history books. Hitler may had good intentions, but just for his people, this is how I view the gb, some more delusional than others but they are all part of the voting system, they all share responsibility therefore they all have their hands soaked in blood and guts. As for delusional, look how clever their literature is written, they are aware of the problems, this is not the same delusional as mind control but delusional when they blame their bad decisions on others and think they can get away with it. I really want to see them either away from society or dead.

I'm thinking big time delusional,,in extreme denial,,and troubling shadow projections,,demons showing up everywhere in their world view projected even in "Sparlock" toys which if left in the home are just an invitation for demons to come and stay.

I think this "Sparlock" childs toy obsession which aparently cause the GB enough concern that they seen the need to make an informative info-mercial about the dangers lurking in childs toys,,is a clear symthom that they got some pretty big hang ups going on.
