I Believe in Sparlock!
Yesterday, a close to 4 minute part of a nationwide afternoon radioshow gave the DVD attention. Various clips from the dvd was aired, interwoven with interviews with leading child psychiatrists and also an ex-witness was interviews. JWs declined the offer to give a comment, but a spokesman from JW was quoted on previous statements given to newspapers.
So you are happy now, InquiryMan?
I am not happy as such. I just report on whats going on. Of course i am also concerned on what implications this might have on children of JWs that might be the cause of harassment due to this wide exposure...
It is however, interesting to see how it catches on more on more...
Now the bishop voices her concern on the matter:
However, it would be interesting to know how JWs react to the videos themselves...
Interestingly, some JWs – when seeing the video on the web before it was released on the conventions – vehemently claimed that the video was a fake video made by apostate JWs to slander the witnesses....
Dear friends,
let us pray that there will be more and more discusssion about obedience.
this will not dent the JWs one bit, but thats not important.
the good that comes from Sparlock is that more people will come to realize the JWs are at best, crazies to be avoided. With all thats going on the JWs will find it harder and harder in the coming years to get an ear to listen.
