The very best tales of dragons I know come from Anne McCaffrey, a great author now sadly no longer with us.

Her world of dragons is beautifully thought out and expressed and ranks very high in my list of favourite books.

Qcmbr - the bible for me, even if parts of it were literal, (history proves that such atrocities happen) is just a book like any other. I use it as a guidline. I neither reject it nor do I hold onto it as the inspired word. I use what I can from it and move on.

Hello Shelby. Good to have you back.

I don't know if you have mentioned it before, but have you anything on the depiction of the satan as a dragon with seven heads in the Revelation? Does this one really have seven heads or is it symbolic.

    Peace. -Anthony

Shelby, I have follow up questions. When you say that these ones have the appearance of dragons, is it a physical appearance (flesh and blood) or a spiritual/supernatural one? Could they choose to manifest in a different manner if they wanted? Many people have tesified to seeing reptialian beings and consider them to be an alien race from a different star system. Is this what you know or is it more as people traditionally view God and the angels, as living, not in this physical universe, but rather some other spiritual realm. Is there a significance to their degree of beauty, or is it just, for lack of a better word, genetics? Your responses are appreciated!

Its quite easy to find the major characters in the Bible, just wait until night time and look up. The dragon is draco the dragon, the snake in Adam & Eve is hydra the snake, which also happens to be at the heal of Virgo(i think its virgo). Many of the stories in the Bible can be found in the stars, you just need to learn their names and mythologies and you will find many of the silly strange stories in the Bible are easily matched. As I understand the symbolism of this thread, AGuest is not really gone from JWN, but will be posting under a couple of her "other" identities.

AGuest would be the dragon, and one "other" identity would be likened to the reptile- a poster without AGuest's wings, or a poster who speaks to the Lord and the Lord speaks to the poster, but not with all that Jehusha Whatchmakeofit jazz. Then there is the "other" identity that will also continue to post, but likened to the snake- a poster with the legs removed, or one who has received messages from God/Spirit/whoever, but hasn't really been told what to make of those communications and is finding their own way through it.

Y'all just watch how this unfolds.
