Well Farkel since a book of the Bible that was supposedly written by Moses recorded his death, it doesn't really make much sense.

@Farkel there are also many references in Moses writing to other books like the book of Japheth. Why would Moses an eye witness say if you dont believe me look up that book! We also have strange unexplained nonsense like the gospels being written in Greek and Matthew an apostle copying nearly all of Mark word for word who wasnt an eyewitness.

The Mainland city was not Tyre, it was Ushu. The island was Tyre.

The Tyre prophecy in Ezekiel 29 is one failed prophecy. Nebuchadnezzar never destroyed and plundered Tyre like he was predicted to.

The author even admitted it. " Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon drove his army in a hard campaign against Tyre; every head was rubbed bare and every shoulder made raw. Yet he and his army got no reward from the campaign he led against Tyre" (v. 18). This is NOT what the original prophecy had expected (see ch. 26-28). And so Ezekiel updated with a new prophecy about Egypt claiming that Yahweh would give Nebuchadnezzar Egypt instead of Tyre, written a few years before Nebuchadnezzar's campaign against Egypt (v. 19-20; cf. ch. 29, 30-32 which is a much earlier prophecy about the conquest of Egypt, which had already failed since Apries had fled Egypt when the usurper Amasis took the throne). Yet history shows that this prophecy was also a spectacular failure.... Nebuchadnezzar was defeated and Egypt was NOT plundered and depopulated for 40 years during the rest of Amasis' reign (see the proof here: http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/watchtower/bible/186163/4/Ezekiel-29-12-Prophecy-of-the-Desolation-of-Egypt-for-40-years#3628978).

Jeremiah also prophesied that Nebuchadnezzar would make Egypt desolate.

    Jeremiah 46:25-26

25 The Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: “I am about to bring punishment on Amon god of Thebes, on Pharaoh, on Egypt and her gods and her kings, and on those who rely on Pharaoh. 26 I will give them into the hands of those who want to kill them—Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and his officers. Later, however, Egypt will be inhabited as in times past,” declares the Lord .

As the link above shows, this didn't take place.

Verse 19 says " Pack your belongings for exile, you who live in Egypt" Nebuchadnezzar never exiled the population of Egypt.

I write here about the failed prophecy that the kingdom of Judah would never end.

Isaiah 52:1 - Awake, awake, O Zion, clothe yourself with strength. Put on your garments of splendor, O Jerusalem, the holy city. The uncircumcised and defiled will not enter you again

Uncircumcised people have conquered Jerusalem many times.
