Could Assemblies Be Wrecked?

Assemblies at the Reading Pa. Assembly Hall are getting disrupted repeatedly by somebody who keeps pulling fire alarms. Many Witlesses blame it on "apostates" - rather than the dissolute teenagers who used to do such things in my day.

There are lots of things that so-called 'apostates' may do to disrupt assemblies including bomb threats phoned in, SWAT teams called, printed green insults stuffed into collection boxes etc.

Add prohibitions against strollers and you have lots of reasons not to attend and thereby avoid the annoyances. Crowded, boring and unpleasant, it's remarkable that anyone attends (whoop, whoop, whoop! hey, they pulled that stupid fire alarm again!)

I saw some fake dollar bills somewhere online with pictures of Russel on them. That would be hilarious to put in the collection boxes!

Don't do anything that involves fire/police, such as fake threats and alarms. Those officers and firefighters are no longer able to take a real call that could happen at the same time and it could get someone hurt.

Beyond that, disrupt away! Stinkbombs are a great way to clear a room.

If they are really having problems with people pulling fire alarms, why don't they just put attendants there to guard them?

I'd like to see someone walk around outside holding a sign wiith a picture of Judge Rutherford and the slogan, "Religion is a Snare and a Racket." I bet that would cause a stir. I wonder if the majority of younger witlesses don't even know who Rutherford was.

I would caution you that any disruption would be a welcome improvement to the proceedings and may even make them attractive.

If you REALLY want to send the people away in droves, send out instructions that mobility aids such as strollers and walkers are prohibited due to fire regulations, conduct the live dramas Milli Vanilli style (lyp synced), and put the temperature to just above sub-zero to cranky up all the old ladies.

Streaking?

We had a (female) streaker at DC in Pullman, WA in 1974. Sorry to say, I didn't see her. She didn't get very far as a couple of attendents grabbed her and turned her over to a couple of sisters who took her into the women's restroom until the police got there. It didn't cause much of a disruption.
