I encourage everyone who has the chance to make such a "donation"... you know that at least one person, if not more, will be reading it... and talking about it...
The funny thing is, the audiodrama was about Jesus' death... and stories that were fabricated at that time... but to make it apply to the Watchtower Society was a real stretch... as usual...
What the WTS fails to acknowledge about the lack of men "reaching out" is that the organization only wants "company men" in responsible positions. Furthermore, they make little effort to recruit new men for the servant body. Instead, they look for ambitious sycophants to serve, for the most part. The number of times I was encouraged to become a servant I can count on the fingers of one hand. And somehow, despite being appointed a pioneer, I was never considered good enough material to be a ministerial servant, let alone an elder. I finally realized that while I might have been needed in my congregation and could have done much good, I wasn't wanted and would never be given the opportunity. I daresay the same is true in many other congregations. In the end, politics is the determining factor and maintaining the "good old boys" club rather than seeking men who actually qualify. There are exceptions to this and we all can name men who are true shepherds and really love the congregations they serve, but such men were far from common.
And yes, the WTS is doing a marvelous job in the Candace Conti case of shooting itself in the foot. The Society knows a backlash is coming so it is ordering the rank-and-file to adopt the usual 'see no, hear no, speak no evil' approach. Most will comply, of course, without bothering to ask why this is happening beyond blaming Satan and this wicked system of things.

Re: the supposed lies about jw's in the press- I have had this conversation with my jw years ago and after him telling me it was all lies blah, blah.... I told him I had the actual court records (old case) and he could read for himself, etc.... his response? yeah and then nothing, blank, no response at all. The indocrination was already too strong and he was unable to process a correct response for a human being. No outrage at the abuse, no outrage at the 'lies' by satan's org (court system), no outrage that a 'brother' confessed, nada, zip. Scary.

that's going to be my response for my mom anytime she says she doesn't want to see anything i send her when i start asking her abot the bs the wtbts spews and that's what i'd suggest for anyone else in that position.

I don't think the media have anything to gain from spreading lies.
WHY would the media lie about JWs? What would possibly be their motivation?
On the other hand, WHY would JWs lie about the media?
It's all evil media, evil governments, evil system, evil people....
It sounds identical to the Communism propaganda(I am very fammiliar with communism). I wonder what it is like for Governing Body to believe in their own lies. North Korean Dear leader Kim Jung Eun=The Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses=United Nation under the same methods and policies.
All the GB have to do is put 'Jehovah' and/or 'Jesus' at the end of their propaganda and demonize everything else.

The sad thing is that the vast majority of JWs will believe it and pride themselves on their faithfulness for not investigating.
