Hi The Searcher,
Regarding your statement above about Christ not judging us on the basis of our knowledge & comprehension of the Bible. I take instruction from these two Scriptures in Luke and James concerning that issue:
"And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more. "(Luke 12:47-48)
"Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin." (James 4:17)

omg. I have come to the conclusion that we humans should focus on the immediate and the REAL. reality! none of us really knows what life after our mortality ends will be or if it even is. I would like to think that yes - this temporary human life is not the sum total of our conscious beings - but powers far greater and more forceful than I manipulate the ever-expanding universe, and who am I to question what may or may not be the grand schematic.
Hence - my goal is to live expressing the highest standards of ethics and excellence, compassion and fair-mindedness to all my fellow earth dwellers. The present - and reality - that is where we can be our best and maybe even make others lives more comfortable, even if in the slightest - still of value.
