The complications of escaping from this cult are enormous and burdensome. Often wondering if it would have been easier to take the "blue pill". One day my wife seems to understand and to be getting on board. Others, it's like starting all over again with her from the get-go. Kids are NOT controlled by the cult. That's a relief. Hoping that they do not go ape-shit crazy so as to empower all the JWs who would like to say "I told you so."
Remaining (in)active for friends and family carries a risk. If my views or my involvement on here is discovered all hell will break loose, not to mention losing all our friends. Yet, just faking it (as was mentioned elsewhere) is emotionally challenging.
Is this too complicated compared to the other responses.
