Interestingly the London Olympics start on the 9th of Av in the Jewish calendar. That's 9/11!

Well the Olympics in 2008 were pretty much guaranteeds to goto the Chinese. Their moment of glory and world power was starting and i cant help that the western powers wanted them to have something big and special especially considering their love for the number 8. They did after all open the games on the 8/8/2008. I cant help but wonder if the 2016 games going to Rio is also the international community formally recognising that Brazil has arrived on the world stage.

Most sporting events are in the summer. Take the tennis grand slams all are in the summer, USA = Sept, Wimbeldon = June, French = 2 weeks before Wimbeldon, and Australian = late Jan if memory recalls.

IN the case of London, i believe i have heard this month is the time ofthe year w/ the best weather.

One can apply any logic one likes to why a games was awarded to a city after the event, however when it was awarded to the UK back in 2005 I suspect few would have expected the queen to still be the queen seven years later. It was decided by an electronic vote which was very close so a pretty reductive argument to suggest "it was a present for the queen".

The queen has many more years, shes never been hospital because of an emergency and so on. I have never heard anybody say she looks like she wont last, especially many years ago.

All religions are illiminati, they all worship the sun. Check your local cathedral or St peters. A halo is the sun, it even means sun in Greek. Jesus grand father was Heli which means sun. Read Jesus language and tell me thats not the sun.
