I was once staying at a hotel that was hosting a large group of Olympic caliber atheletes who were there for a competition. That morning at the breakfast buffet they were all around me as I had my meal. It was amazing to see, up close, human beings at this level of physical perfection. Beautiful .

Exactly the same reason Scientology has a celebrity relations department: it's good PR.
The Williams sisters generate pride amongst R&F (fellow JWs can use them as validation that they're not a cult!), but the difference is if the elders tried to interfere with their athletic careers, they'd drop JWs like a hot potato! It's their business, and there's serious $$$ on the line: they and their family are not fools about what makes the World go 'round.

I think rhythm has a lot to do with getting in touch with your inner self and can lead to peak experiences , were the ego kind of disappears and the unconscious takes over.
An alter state of consciousness were the ego cramp is overcame and unconsciousness is allowed more control by the ego in a blissful state,, a peak experience,, it is like the ego going for a ride, as forces much more powerful than it come to the surface and take control. I'm sure she felt a sort of controlled estacy from such an experiance but I'm sure it is not her first.
