By all acounts the Nexus should have a long life as the performance is at the top of the list for Android tablets. . Hopefully Google updates the Nexus 7 software the way Apple does it's tablets OS. I own the $199 version and based on how I use my iphone, 8gb will be plenty big enough for me. I still remember when a huge 1gb harddrive was $1000. The HD 1280x800 screen is the kicker for me- My HD movies I loaded on my Kingston Wi-drive for my Iphone 4s, look even better 4x larger. I'm going to finish watching John Carter tonight-again. . I don't miss using my ipad at all. My wife is so jealous of my Google voice search. We were checking out Busch gardens tickets tonight and I found the best deal= play and dine admissions (teenagers eat and drink a lot), way before she did with her ipad. Also, the Ipad never felt heavy until after I started using this lightweight 7" form tablet. I think Apple needs to be wary of offering a smaller (cheaper)7" tablet, as I doubt new Ipad customers will feel the need to upgrade to the larger and more expensive original size tablet. They may have no choice but to go downmarket in order to keep gaining new Apple customers for the itunes store or passively let Android/ Google snare them through the $199 tablet market.
Anyone else have a Nexus 7 tablet?

I have not purchased a Nexus 7 Tablet but is aware of many postive reviews. Now that Apple is planing to launch an 'Ipad Mini' in October,2012, more competition means we willl have best prices.
