In fact, Barbara Anderson posted in a very recent thread that the WTBTS actually paid "Full-Ride" tuition for multiple JWs to get law degrees!
What hypocrisy.
Let's review: IT'S A CULT!

The Reasoning book says (p. 34), "Apostasy is abandoning or deserting the worship and service of God, actually a rebellion against Jehovah God. Some apostates profess to know and serve God but reject teachings or requirements set out in his Word. Others claim to believe the Bible but reject Jehovah's organization."
Somehow, it's always about the organization...
Thanks everybody! Makes it pretty clear! That letter to the body of elders metions 4 years at university. Gerrit from GB said recently that is was the "bullet operation" to pursue higher education in general, without any specs of how many years. That is not according to the letter to body of elders. Why is he not accused of apostacy when he goes beyond what wts learn? I thought they cared about membership numbers. He just ruined the beliefs of 100 of witnesses in my country.

But in practice, it means believing or questioning anything the organization currently teaches (which is subject to change of course, but only by them, not by you).
Try to have a nice day!
OODAD!!!!!!!!! That's it exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What the heck is a "bullet operation"? I never heard that term before!!!

Because he's one of the fuckers that makes up these ridiculous rules dearie! Isn't it obvious? Their brand of legalism makes the Pharisees in the Bible look like wannabes.

You nailed it buddy! Good work.

Underachiever. Now get back out there and do better!
"Bullet operation" refers to his famous story abot the guy who cured himself from a compulsive disorder by shooting himself in the head with a gun. Higher education is that, according to him: shooting yourself in the head with a gun. He used it in Italy, Norway and probably many other countries. We were litterally knocked out. Many took offence and lost faith. Earlier days that would result in a punishment from GB.
