    disturbing indeed ... thanks Cedars

Your videos about AMIII really shine a light on the true person behind the facade, what an ass.

Thanks Cedars. I do appreciate your bringing together actual quotes from this mis-esteemed gentleman. Give him a white beard and deepen that voice of his and he could pass for Chuck Russell - although I'd say that Chuck was probably a lot smarmier and smooth in his talk than Tone.

I take a different view than others on the content of the clip: Increasing numbers of young ones continue to leave the organization despite its feeble attempts at warning about the dangers of the world. I get the impression that the current generations of JW parents are (hush, hush) a bit more tolerant of their JW children's wanderings. Sure, we'll still hear about rabid JW parents who hound their children and then become all tearful because their children have dared to live their own lives. But there's an unmistakable trend towards the rank and file sleeping through many of these kinds of warning addresses.

White-haired Tone's sleep-inducing vocals produce more snoozes than fuses .

The only thing to be afraid of is the Watchtower Org.

This guy is sinking so low he is obviously acting as judge and jury by telling us that he knows from which age group God is going to destroy .Looks as if the institute has been taken over by the inmates again. Listen to yourself Mr Morris and ask yourself has God actually given me the authority to talk this rubbish. In over a hundred years when ever has your crazy group been correct , never .

So when these creeps are not busy poaching people from other faiths, they terrify their own young with homicidal threats so they get baptized.

Cedars, you make great videos and I like your music selections. It might be pragmatic to find open source music clips for future videos so you do not get restricted by copyright laws.

No scriptures cited. There's no evidence that first century Christians were baptizing kids just because they were old enough to work in a field or something. Jesus made no such threats about slaughtering children because they "can't get in on their parent's coattails." By their teachings, the GB make JWs believe that even baptized JWs will get slaughtered if they don't "do enough". So getting baptized is no salvation at all. It's only about control. Once the kids are dunked, the elders can officially start butting into what the kids do, what the parents do, and threaten, and control.

Thanks so much, Cedars! I enjoy your new series of videos. Very poignant. Whatever that means.

comparing getting baptized to getting a driver's license --- let's see:

-no one gets pressured by parents to get driver's license. if anything, quite the opposite. no one wants sky-high insurance rates

-one does not need parental permission to get baptized. if both parents are worldly, Johnny Teenager can get baptized on his own and even against his parents' wishes

-parents must give permission for driver's license and until kid is legal adult, parents can revoke permission

-everyone must get learner's permit, go to driving school, and pass driving test to get DL.

-minor drivers get provisional DL, a license with certain restrictions

-once you're baptized, there is no trial period

-if you don't wanna drive anymore, you don't. you are not ostracized by society for not renewing your DL

-if you don't wanna be JW anymore, kiss your social life and sanity goodbye

-there are driving manuals which clearly state the laws of your locale (For example, did you know that by having a DL, you cannot refuse to take a sobriety test) and any penalties. You can find these rules online on your state's website.

    I'm sure there more.

Isn't baptizing all of these little children going to back fire in about 6 years????

I was one of those who got scared into getting baptised young. My parents told me that getting baptised was the ticket I needed for paradise. I did not feel ready and was afraid of getting disfellowshipped because I had seen how harsh shunning was. Not that I was a troublemaker, but you just never know what could happen in the future.
