So we have a JW next door who went to the Assembly over the w/e. Yesterday she gave 'gift' to my wife for my kids.

That's right it was the Sparlock DVD. I didn't know about the gift until I saw my kids watching it this morning.

Is it safe to let my kids watch it?

If you want your kids to grow up to be dysfunctional dickheads hanging on to every word the watchtower dictates to them and end up as Jehovah`s Witness zombies , then by all means let them be brainwashed by Watchtower propaganda.

I did what jgnat suggested in her second post in this thread and it worked. My assembly was in June and I sat down with my siblings to watch the two DVDs and laugh at them. Don't make it too obvious.

No, unless you want your kids to be implemented with phobias.

Listen, THINK and Obey is the name of the dvd, this 15 minute divide is implementing authorite on Jehovah, Jehovah being those men from the WB&TS.

Watch it with them and ask what they think. "Is it fair to throw away somthing that was loaned to you?" "Why would Jah be hurt by a plastic toy?"

Wt propaganda is its own worst enemy

Ask why is it ok to play with a model of a real WWI fighter bomber that killed thousands of innocent people, but not ok to play with an imaginary warrior wizard that hasn't killed anybody?

Why doesn't the fighter bomber make Jehovah sad?

You could follow the video. Tell your kids that Jehovah doesn't like baseless propagander and throw it in the bin. That would be one way.

Or ... you could go through it and reason how the message is baseless propagander and help your children learn something.

JWs "demonize" every little thing. Creates superstitiousness. Then, paranoia can sets in. Disneyland and Disney movies soon become rated "XXX" to them.

Spare your child's mind, let them be imaginative and to become creative. The WTS wants to control the youthful JW mind. They want to get their minds when young. Otherwise, they realize most of their young ones are leaving this extremely negative, stifling religion.

Does your neighbor have children too? Why not invite their kids over to watch a "magic kingdom" movie with your kids?
