I forgot Britcoms. I like Are You Being Served? I also like Keeping Up Appearances. Gotta love Onslo and his quantum physics and Daisy. Hyacinth reminds me of my mother's mom.

Wow - reading this thread is like a trip down memory lane. So many shows I grew up watching have already been listed. I totally second tredescu's list.
I watched MASH with my dad every night after the news. There was an episode when Radar went home on leave and he met Trapper John's family and TJ's little girl called Radar "daddy". It was the first time I ever saw my dad cry. He turned his big green recliner away from me and I could hear him sniffling, but I didn't say anything. Just kissed him on the cheek and went to bed when it was over. He shuns me now, but I know he still loves me.
Okay, sorry if that brought the room down ;-)

FHN, OMG, I forgot about Mary Hartman Mary Hartman! Did you see the episode where she brought chicken soup to her friend? He had taken a cold pill, got drowzy and fell forward and drowned in the bowl of her soup. It was hysterical.
Also the episode of MTM where the tv clown died and she got the giggles during the eulogy-priceless!

When the MASH theme plays, I close my eyes and I feel like I am back at home in my living room with Mom and it's 1972 again. Mom's alive and I'm 13 and it lasts until the theme is over. My favorite MASH episode is the "Come on in. Take off your skin and rattle around in your bones" episode.
