It’s become less and less of a ‘Spiritual Paradise’ in the last seven years. More and more youth wanting less and less of the ‘Truth’. Divorce, separation and unhappy family life on the rise. Boorish congregation meetings as well as bland programs and talks at CAs and DCs. High percentage of JWs still medicated in order to cope. Very negative atmosphere overall.
Otherwise just another day in Paradise in JW World!
OH! On a positive note: WT is having their pants sued off of them over child molestation cases!
It has all been pretty much summarized above. The only things I see missing is that JW's are now allowed to use iPads at the meetings; however they cannot be used on the stage during a part. Social networking sites such as Facebook are allowed as long as you make it known that you're a JW. You must avoid adding worldly people to your friend's list because it brings reproach upon God's name. WT Library is also available online for your mobile phone but the literature dates back only to the year 2000 with revisions to the original literature.

Lease, Did you hear about Danny Haszard pepper sprayed two older JW gentlemen(probably elders) coming to his door? He videotaped the whole thing and he took the video down for good because alot of us did not like it at all.

Hey don't forget that the dwindling anointed population of 8 thousand have miraculously grown to more than 12 thousand!
Wow, really, how old are the 8 surviving Gov. Body....they have got to be 100 or older! And the number of annointed grew! Geez, what expanation did the Society have to say about that? ..Hey since they reduced the hours for pioneers, did they reduce the hours for the publisher...didn't they have to make 10 hours a month? and do they still print the Awake ? Are there more JWs now than 10 years ago....Are they increasing or decreasing in number?
They still expect publishers to get the 10 hours, though it has never been a binding amount.
They still have the Awake, but only 1 edition per month, and are reducing it to 16 pages.
They are growing, but far slower than during the 1980's. See Watchtower Statistics.
The Governing body are not old, as they keep replacing them with younger ones. Geoffrey Jackson is only about 57, and about to marry a girl in her thirties.
As far as the number of anointed growing, they have admitted that maybe the calling was not closed in 1935. It won't be long before they will have to say the number 144,000 is figurative.
