sir82: isn't this the guy who supposedly just got engaged? why bother to get married? Isn't that rather cruel to the young sister, if he's not going to be here for very long?
It's cruel to the sister no matter how you look at it.

AndDontCallMeShirley, literally LOL! I just told my wife what you wrote; she's laughing, too.
This is similar to Daniel's statue.
At least 10 years ago, I heard comments about the feet, and that we're not just down to the toes in the timeline, we're in the toenails. (Ewww.)
What kind of "teacher" calls his student(s) an idiot?
The leadership of the WTBTS are pathetic excuses for Christians.
It would seem that this sort of behavior would identify HIM as a member of the "evil slave."
Jesus spoke of the evil slave immediately after discussing “the faithful and discreet slave.” He said: “If ever that evil slave should say in his heart, ‘My master is delaying,’ and should start to beat his fellow slavesand should eat and drink with the confirmed drunkards, the master of that slave will come on a day that he does not expect and in an hour that he does not know, and will punish him with the greatest severity and will assign him his part with the hypocrites. There is where his weeping and the gnashing of his teeth will be.” (Matthew 24:48-51) - w04 3/1 pp. 13-18
That last inch is hell of a wide one sincee they end is prodicted to be millions of years in to the future before the sun dies out or another galaxy ingulfs ours. Of course a asteriod or comet could hit the earth before that but where are we going to run too
The football field is actually a giant hamster wheel.
Keep running, you idiots.
Big difference is you get 7 points for scoring a touchdown and a kicked extra point. You get NOTHING for being a JW - resting your hopes on false promises. The illustration is comparing apples with oranges. 2nd time today I've used the " apples & oranges " comparison
That's true. A better analogy would be someone running with a blindfold on, and the person who put it on them tells them to keep running. Once in a while the runner suspects that they're being put on, but the person tells them each time, "No, you're almost there, keep running!" How long does a person continue to run blindly before they start to look like a fool?
I think its his soon to be wife who is the one that needs to run, and run bloody fast
