This is one reason I don't go to Tim Hortons. I also do not go to Walmart any more, except under exceptionally rare circumstances (such as if I think they have a Christmas decoration I feel might be worth the time). At Tim Hortons, you are likely to run into witlesses as customers. At Walmart, you are likely to run into them setting up a booth or doing "street work" in the parking lot.
Which is more than can be said about L.L.Bean. At that place, all I need is my computer, a few mouse clicks, and enough money in my account. Yes, they are quite a bit more expensive than Walmart. But the quality is usually superior, and I actually end up paying less for that product because I don't have to keep replacing it. Another place I found nice is Stonewall Kitchen. You can buy your own coffee maker, and good coffee. Once you get going, it is usually cheaper than Tim Hortons.
And no witlesses.
