    @ sir82

I wish it was that easy sir82. I would do that in a heartbeat if I could, but I don't want to end up sleeping in the streets with only $142 in my bank account.

Yondaime....you rock! Sorry you have to put up with your charade, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

You just have to ask yourself the question, if they ask you to be a servant. Where is the holy spirit? It just goes to show you what a joke all of the holy spirit garbage is.

    Keep us posted.

Thanks for the encouragement ToesUp, I'll continue to analyze my situation and see what I can do to at least fade.

    Hi Yondaime

If you write like only 2-3 hours on your field service report he won't ask you to become a ms.

I made the mistake and preached too much at that time.

    Good luck

Waiting for them to drop the hour requirements to 5 to 6 hours simply because no one is qualifying anymore.

I remember when my parents threatened to kick me out when I turned 18 because i had become inactive( and I was partying too much). The thought of being alone in the world with no skills to pay the bills scared me so much that, not only did I return to meetings, I became a pioneer and then a servant a little over a year later. It's really sad when parents exert that kind of influence on us at such a young age. They use napalm instead of love to light a fire under our ass.

Ganbatte yondaime! Milk your parents for all they are worth until you can live comfortably independent from them.

    Tread carefully mate.

While it is "fun" to walk both sides of the fence, eventually your mind will explode as you try and reconcile "the truth" and THE TRUTH....

Just be a good REAL friend to all those "spiritually weak" youth, and you never know when opportunities will arise that will allow you to share small insights into TTATT....

Yeah, that's some crazy pressure to put on a kid, like you're "a pillar" who's somehow supposed to help fix things for the elduhs. Where was Jehovah in preventing these bad things from happening? Was he snoozing or in the privy? Were all the angels too busy flying around JW litteratrash trolleys to come and help the "youthz" in your congregation stay on the straight and narrow?

If you're looking to fade, this situation gives you some useful facts:

    • When I was a kid and bad stuff like that happened in a hall, the rumor was "they've mourned Jehovah's spirit" or "Jehovah's spirit isn't with that congregation". There is no guarantee in the JWs that your congregation will be a "spiritual paradise". And the local KH can become an embarrassment in the community when "worldly people" find out that there are bad JWs.
    • Just because someone is a JW, it doesn't mean they are a good person and should be trusted. Actually, I used to be surprised and disappointed at how dramas and experiences would have other JW kids as the troublemaker villains leading the protagonists away from da troof. I really felt there was a huge mistrust and suspicion of kids at the hall that weren't all 100% goody-goody. So, any less than exemplary kids at the hall can easily be labeled "bad association." Ironically, there were a lot of those "exemplary kids" at the hall that were found out to be living "double lives". So really, the exemplary kids at the hall are also possibly "bad association." Talk about a network of suspicion.

According to their own LIE-ble, "Each shall carry his own load".

This means you are not responsible for the actions of anyone else. No matter what, if you set the example and they do not respond (which I doubt they will), they will use it against you. If the congregation is falling apart, it is because the whole religion is on bad footing. The rules are against human nature. They are anti-women, homophobic, and make sex seem so dirty while endorsing slavery. If the congregation is affected by that, your example is not going to help.

    yondaime...

Hit them with the nuke!!!! If not even most people just up and left... it would be huge! Every single person who just up and leaves helps out the younger ones. The organization stays strong because people just stay in and do not rock the boat. ROCK THE FUCKING BOAT!!

Nuke the shit out of them brother!
