Heard/saw this 30-second commercial last year - they just started it up again this growing season.

    Pink songbook memories, anyone?

Yeah I have seen that commercial before but I didn't put it together but now you mention it is does sound like an old Kingdum Song. I can't remember the name of the song.

I could never understand why the conventions and assemblies had orchestral songs, but at the KH, we only got piano.

The violin in the commercial is identical.

Try this one. When Keep your eyes on the pies was first introduced back in the mid 60's, everyone in our congregation started to grin and mutter: "Snow White's" song!

Pretty much any "kingdom" song that is at all catchy or recognizable was copied from a song popular in the culture. There are several that are based on church songs, Disney, and a couple of songs that I heard of from mid century old movies.

I was at a Baptist church for a funeral a while back and the pianist played a hymn that sounded virtually the same as Keep Your Eyes on the Prize. I think the tune was ripped off from Christendom. imagine that

So-called Kingdom songs are not songs - they are dirges, heavy-weighted and plodding, replete with message- burdened lyrics that suck the air and joy out of anyone who dares put voice to them. They should be issued with health warnings. They hasten death for the middle-aged and vulnerable and have been known to cause persons exposed to the mind-dulling noises to welcome wrist-slitting as a merciful release.
