I'm embarrassed to admit I have had 5 (yes FIVE!) Judicial Committees since 2007 (not for pornography). . . . . I was never disfellowshipped.
Bet none of them were for spreading apostate ideas.

Well yes, you're right. All of them as a result of me confessing - so it was definitely guilty conscience. Those days are gone. Sometime after the last one, when they told me I could comment at the meetings again, I said I wouldn't be (it has always bugged me how you're told you can't comment and then suddenly you're told you MUST answer up! And I told them that). They questioned me for quite some time to see if it was because of apostate ideas. But you're right,the JCs themselves were not for apostasy. I'll probably get around to telling the whole story on a separate thread, the only thing that holds me back from doing that is that it might be a bit boring because it's probably all been said before!

I am glad I'm out. I could not take all that control and scruting. I could not have elders getting into my affairs.I would be d/f'd for contempt and insolence for/towards the elders.
