If I'm reading it correctly, the court has reduced the punitive damages. I assume this is for the $21 million reduced to $8.6 million. Is the total judgment now $15 million?

From what I read only the punitive were reduced from $21 mil to the $8.6 mil. The conclusion at the end says if the plantiff agress to the reduction, then there would be no additional trial.
From my uneducated perspective, the rest of the appeal was denied, only the issue of Punitive damages would be considered at a new trial, and only if Conti/Simons want to proceed. If they want to accept the reduction by the judge for the $8.6 in punitive, then thats it for now in this court system. Not sure about appeals to the next level.
