The "end result" ALWAYS being the same, will help an unknown number of people wake up. The Elders WON'T ever admit defeat, despite any and all logic, despite their own contradictory and damning litteratrash.

This delusional behavior will eventually raise awareness. Each "useless" recording will eventually add up. Just think of all the faders who have joined JWN!

"Satan is Using Google" - so does the Org!! :)

Too many loose cannons within the Org who want to 'impress' others with their ad-lib comments; like the Bethel speaker who "revealed" to us that the disciple James was almost certainly the "chairman" of the alleged first century governing body!

Its neither deceptive nor dishonest to record ones own Judicial meeting . In fact

everyone should do it. It simply gives the accused a record or witness to the

often dishonest conduct of the elders. It levels the playing field since the elders

have each other as witnesses of what went on and can lie and cover it up.

    Which happens frequently.

The majority of elders are men who are nobodies in day to day life. I know some that are not. And they are definetely a different breed. But most are NOBODIES. being an elder to them amounts to being "somebody" and even if they doubt likely they won't even entertain it or the facts because even if it was all wrong they won't give up this small fish bowl where they feel like somebody with a big briefcase. I have heard this Said from the elders mouths in many ways. When I had a Shepparding call recently the two Bros were not nobodies. In fact one is a major player in pop culture for the last 60 years. He told me people in the organization are idoit's lol. In the Shepparding call! He also said most elders are basically losers who are elders because they are not skilled and this is there only way to have a title. He even talked about how he would never hire a witness because they suck. Lol. Anyway. He really believe his faith. I can admire that. The rest it's not about belief. They don't want to lose their little bossy Shangri-la

The elders response to the accusation that holy spirit has in the past appointed elders who were pedophiles was: "Jesus appointed Judas...where was the holy spirit? He was Gods son!"

This is a false analogy. I wish the camera man had pointed this out. Jesus and the "holy spirit" appointed Judas knowing he would betray in the end. Jesus foretold it. It had to be done to fulfill prophecy for Jesus to die for mans sins. It was predestined in the sense that Judas' future decisions and utilization of "choice" was known in advance and accepted. This was an appointment of a "bad person" in order to accomplish a larger "good cause."

Mr. Elder needs to now tell us how an elder in the 21st century is fulfilling Gods divine plan by fondling little children ;) Where's the holy spirit now!? Must be a dabbling sort of holy spirit that intervenes at random and many times not when it morally should. hmm

There is no need for elders to record the meeting since there are 3 of them to corroborate what took place while the accused is always alone...Judicial committees are spiritual executions to silence any dissidence from the organization with no consideration for justice.

These men's first goal is not to answer any questions. All they want to do is establish where Isaac stands in regards to the organization. In fact when Isaac attempts to bring proof to his alegations using WT quotes they tell him they don't have all night. The recording shows that these "qualified" spiritual men cannot and do not want to bring back to reason the accused. They only need an excuse to isolate him from the flock to mitigate the danger of being exposed.

Isaac should of said "well then Satan apparently is using the JW cd library and most of JW documents too since that's what being brought out on Google"

Like most apostasy judicial cases it is apparent that midway through when the accused starts to bring up points in the bible and elsewhere that demonstrate how foolish watchtower beliefs are etc... the elders are no longer trying to bring that person back. They are merely stating things with the hopes of solidifying their own beliefs and that of their fellow elders as they sit there.

I have sat in on 3 of these cases and that is what happens every single time. As a matter of fact after the meeting is over the brothers will stand outside in the parking lot or sit in the car and continue to "sound down" into themselves watchtower teachings with the hopes that they are not going to allow the apostates points to dwell on their minds when they leave

steve2: although I should imagine if the elders dared to secretly video our friend's "trial", we'd be declaring them to be very deceptive and dishonest. Funny how we don't accuse our friend of that. Hmmmmmm.

It is not fair to put the elders and the one accused on the same playing field when they are not.

The relationship is one that is hugely power imbalanced, with the elders having all the power. If the elders taped the "trial" they would be reinforcing that power imbalance in their own favor. When the accused tapes the "trial", it is an attempt to balance out that power relationship and reclaim his personal power in an unfair situation. Even if you consider that the taped conversation is the accused person's "witness", the power dynamics still favor the elders.

You cannot compare the two positions fairly when the positions are unfairly balanced to begin with.
