My elder buddy and I would frequent strip clubs when we wanted to.
A few friends knew I enjoyed clubbing and music concerts and I seldom ever spoke of my private social life to others.
I know many JWs, including elders, that drank excessively but that wasn't considered too big a deal.

I visited the elderly and the sick. I went door to door in Jewish territory. I helped the brothers and sisters with their talks. I made return visits and actually started Bible studies. I filled in when there was a no show in the school. Among other things. Yes the Elders would have told me to stop showing them off. Oh! You mean bad boy stuff! I'm not telling!
