I can't find a clip, but everybody in Seattle laughs at the scene in Sleepless in Seattle where Meg Ryan watches Tom Hanks take his kid out in the boat. They end up on the beach at Alki point, which is a trip of several miles - through the Lake Washington locks and across a harbor full of commercial traffic. They're out their at sunset which would mean returning at night with no lights. And when she watches them go under the bridge she's going the opposite direction from where their headed. And she'd have to know where they're going to get to the beach, she can't follow the boat. Nice scene, but totally impossible in real life.
The tourist cruises on the lake will still take you past the houseboat Tom Hanks lived on.
And pretty much every other movie set in Seattle starts with a shot of the Space Needle to disguise the fact that the rest of the movie is shot in Vancouver, BC.
