In a thinly veiled attack on the likes of YouKnow the Society issues this proclamation to JWs who dare to say anything out of line with the Watchtower Bullshit and Tosser’s Society:
10. Are we personally alert, so that no unrighteousness is found on our lips? For example, can our family members really trust what we say? Can our spiritual brothers and sisters in the congregation do the same? It would be easy to develop the habit of couching one’s words in terms that are technically accurate but misleading.
Watch out for apostasy in our midst! Don’t even trust your family! And of course, the Society would never say things that are ‘technically accurate but misleading’!!!
12. If we are not careful, we could be tempted to weave personal preferences or opinions in with our teaching. That would especially be a risk for a person tending to be confident in his own conclusions even when these contradict what Jehovah’s organisation is teaching.
Keep your personal preferences or opinions to yourself!!! What are you thinking anyway even trying to think?!!!
That would especially be a risk for a person tending to be confident in his own conclusions even when these contradict what Jehovah’s organisation is teaching.
All honest hearted servants of Jehovah should stop to read that sentence. Itdoesn't need explaining, does it? Don't think. Don't say. That wouldn't be dictatorial would it? That wouldn't be mind control, would it? Not much it ain't!
Cheers, Ozzie
"If our hopes for peace are placed in the hands of imperfect people, they are bound to evaporate."
"That would especially be a risk for a person tending to be confident in his own conclusions even when these contradict what Jehovahs organisation is teaching."
Yes it has been a risk. The governing body is too confident in their own concluions even when these contradict common sense , logic , science , history, the Bible and every one else on earth.
"10. Are we personally alert, so that no unrighteousness is found on our lips? For example, can our family members really trust what we say? Isn't this a subtle way of saying, can you really trust even what your family says even if they are witnesses? A good way of getting witnesses to be suspicious of everyone.
This is the same brand of paranoia that caused them to remove windows from current Kingdom Hall designs ..... The Captain Queeg lookalikes of Brooklyn are progressing, if that's the word, from neutoric to psychotic.
Good Gawd! They don't even bother to say the Bible any more. Just "Jehovah's Organization."
That would especially be a risk for a person tending to be confident in his own conclusions even when these contradict what Jehovah’s organisation is teaching.
Don't trust your family, don't trust the spiritual brothers and sisters in the congregation, don't trust your own conclusions - don't question the WTBTS - "even when these (personal conclusions) contradict"
Nothing misleading about the above statement. Don't trust anyone, stop thinking. Obey us.
