I remember when I was 2 I blew into my mothers ashtray so I could clean it out for her. It nearly blinded me. She quit smoking soon after that.

I can remember a christmas tree in our living room. My mother swears that is impossible because by the time I was one, my family had stopped celebrating Christmas. But I remember where it was in the living room and told her. She was amazed. I was right.
I can remember the entire layout of the house we left when I was 7 years old.
I can remember watching storms since I could walk to the back screen door. I have always loved storms.

I remember quite a bit from two years on.
At 2 my parents seperated and my mom had to get a job.
I remember them fighting and I remember being taken to a strange home were a woman babysitted me and several other kids instead of being with my mother at home.
I remember later when I was 3 and mom and dad were back together, telling me she had a baby in her tummy.
I was going to have a brother or sister.
I didn't really understand.
I have lots of memories from the end of my third year on because thats when this baby business became a reality for me.
I got a sister.

I also remember my sister being born at two years of age and a few things before she was born.

I have a very clear memory of being in a crib, and it had mosquito netting over it. I thought I couldn't get out because of the netting, and cried for someone to come get me. I was about 2. Mom was surprised I remembered that. We were visiting Dad's cousins, who had a farm, and there were bugs all over the place, so they had netting over the crib for me.

I must have been around about 3 and can remember seeing a lot on the news about some guys who everyone seemed to be bothered about. They were on a top of a building waring big coats and huge beards and were 'splitting up'. The Beadles or something like that
I really do remember that and wondered what all the fuss was about.
Other memories? Mum explaining what d.i.v.o.r.c.e. was .
Climbing a huge tree in our garden (it was probably only 5ft high)
Discovering that if you stuck a stick in the pile of ashes where a bonfire had been 2 days ago it came out on fire! WOW. (cave-man instinct)
I remember mostly outside stuff. When I was 4, there was a woods next to our house, with a big tree at the edge of it. I used to pee behind that tree instead of coming in the house.
We had a couple of chickens and a rooster. Sometimes, the rooster would get between me and the side door to the house. My mother would have to come out with a broom and chase him off, so I could get in the house.
One time I walked at the age of four to a little country store about a quarter mile from our house. I had to cross a busy state route to get there. The purpose of my travels was to get the free cookie the woman there gave me on our visits. When my mother discovered where I was, she broke a wooden yard stick on my legs - didn't hurt though.
One I don't remember, but was told about. One time, my uncle opened the side door. I was on the other side, and the opened door sent me sailing down the basement steps right to the floor below. I've never been the same since. hee hee.
I have memories going back to one and a half years old. I was standing amongst the pebbles on Trebah's private beach http://www.trebah-garden.co.uk, I've taken my son Ashton back to the Exact Spot.
Many memories of very early childhood in amazing clarity. Especially four years old.
My first ever dream I remember was at four years old. I was in Tibet and was looking up at the monastry in Llasa, every detail is still etched in my mind.
Much peace and compassion to you all.

My earliest memory is playing outside with little Scottie Dunlap, outside of our apartment building in Annoka*, Minnesota, and also his mom making us take naps. I was either two or three years old.
I also remember sticking something in the electric socket and it turning the wall black. What I can't remeber is if I was hurt or not while doing so. I was around the same age. Oh and also my sister cutting the wiskers off of our cat and shutting him up in the glove compartment of the car. The cat died.
That same year I went into a coma after getting hold of some seed corn. I do not remember that though.
