Thanks for the input, y'all.
Let me take the question a little further. And please don't think I'm being paranoid by asking. Although I will admit that in a way this question has some roots in my own personal distrust of the dubs.
I agree with your posts about a response on the top level of the org, but what about at the congregational level - where the actual work of JW's ultimately gets done? How far will local bodies of elders and the local hardliners go?
I'll bet you ten bucks to nothing that Brooklyn has a list of regular posters on this and other boards. It doesn't take too much of a stretch of the imagination to see local bodies of elders get a discrete "heads up" that so-and-so in their territory is posting on an apostate board. Even if a poster manages to hide their identity well enough, you have to assume that the org has sufficient expertise and resources at their disposal to trace a poster to at least a close enough range to alert the appropriate cong(s) that someone locally there is on an apostate board.
Leaving it in the hands of the local elders - which seems to be the trend - leaves the rules of engagement wide open.
That said, I would like to say this to those here who are still in the JW's. Please don't let what I've said scare you away from here. I don't want you to leave this thread with the feeling that someone is looking over your shoulder.
whatever...
