    Thinkers Wife = ditto!!
    LOL. Sounds like you might be near where I am Latte. It has been about two and half years since I was at the meetings. And yes, I am extremely happy. Found and married a wonderful man along the way!! About time I found some happiness for myself at the ripe old age of forty.

    amicus

    Hi Latte,
    I couldn't decide for a while between Orcrist or amicus. Amicus had a nicer ring to it so I went with it.
    Amicus= latin(m) friend
    Orcrist=Goblin-cleaver. A sword forged by the High elves to fight evil creatures. Orcrist burned with a fierce blue flame if Orcs or Trolls came near. (Tolkien-Lord of the Rings)

    I have a Peruvian Paso whose coat is a magnificent red. He is the Redhorse...the second part is rather obvious I also just like the sound of it.

    Hi Latte--Great name, I can tell you've got class!

    I picked java because I really love the stuff, and as everyone on the group will tell you, it's the ONLY vice I have. However, you need to look out for two members who go by larc, and waiting. Otherwise, it's a great group of folks here. It's nice meeting you, and pour another cup . . .

    Prisca

    Hi Latte, and welcome! :)

    My nick is from my real name, Priscilla. Prisca is used in the Bible as the Latin name of the disciple Priscilla, who was married to Aquila. They were Christians in the 1st Century. What is known about them is mostly found in the Book of Acts.

    Personally I don't like the name Prisca, so in real life I get called every other variation of Priscilla. But I chose Prisca because it was something different!

    larc

    Latte,

    My real name is Carl, but I go by Larc, because I like to joke around, be light hearted and I think Larc denotes that.

    Thinker and I have written some light hearted stuff under the subject of "JW Dictionary" and "Heresy of the Month."

    Hey Seven, fan of the '50's, are you out there and are you familiar with this song from the '50's having to do with names: "Well, they often call me speedo, but my real name is Mr. Earl. Well, soma call be Joe and soma call me Moe, but yasa man a speedo, I don't never take it slow." Inquiring minds want to know!
