I was born in 1969. I was always told that I wasn't even supposed to start kindergaten.I am surprised that my mother hasn't gotten a talking to, because she always said I wasn't to start school.

Very true, I can see them saying, "Oh, you're just quote mining, trying to find fault. There's been new light and refinements since then. One must keep up with Jehovah's chariot, blah, blah, blahbeedy blah..."

My retort to any JW who says that is: But I was around in 1968. And what was printed, and spoke from the platorm, was declared as "truth". We were told it was as if from Jehovah and spirit directed. If I believed that in 1968, and it was "truth", why is not "truth" today? Why did it change? If "truth" then isn't "truth" now, how do I know that what you call "truth" today won't be "truth" 20 years from now?

And yes, I know... it's an exercise in futility because believing JWs don't listen to logic and reason... but sometimes ya just gotta get it off your chest...
