Eric, I'll be listening to this concluding part with much interest. Thank you for all the hard work you put into making the videos and putting them in the public domain. You have created a valuable tool for instructing others about the way loyalty to the organization is seen by many JW elders as more important than the exercise of one's own conscience. Well, join the long queue of 'apostates' who tested and found wanting those with 'spiritual authority' during their own lifetimes:

    Jeremiah

    Jesus

Paul ("teaching an apostasy from Moses" Acts 21:21)

    Martin Luther

    William Tyndale

    etc, etc.

    [Added:]

    Charles Taze Russell

Thank you so much for that, I'm still crying. You did an awesome job, and although I don't go along with the Christian perspective, your sincerity and passion resonated with me. Great video.

Great job Eric. As you said, time will tell whether or not any fully awake, but you can be sure that seeds were planted and they will try to grow and they will be dealing with that for a very long time.

    @ThomasCovenant - YW bro

@man oh man - It was a slam dunk for them...and a slam dunk for me- a WIN-WIN lol. Although I know they were saddened by my "leaving the troof".

@grumblecakes - I have no idea if they know it is online. Personally I think it would be best if they did not know, as it might make them feel embarassed and I never wanted that.

@NewChapter - Saying prayer over them was the thing that had me the most nervous. I wasn't sure if they would even allow me to do it but I felt that it would be the best thing I could do. It runs counter to their training and preconceived notions and shows them that "apostates" are not wicked evil slanderous people.

@MrFreeze - YW! Toto was awesome, we had FOUR original band members, which was not expected. The Lukester is so talented, and they had a new backup singer that was gorgeous and full of soul- she took lead vocals on one song and I got to shake her hand at the end as I was right at the lip of the stage so it was pretty cool.

@Listener - Yes, I was pretty nervous about that prayer. It was at the end of the whole thing, and I had been waiting soooo long for this day. A year ago I was very close to simply DAing myself, but a couple friends I have great respect for encouraged me to wait. So now, leaving on my own terms, spending my "silver talent" in a way that had some impact hopefully, etc., was gratifying. Re-listening to it yesterday when I was finishing up the edit got my heart pounding again...which I actually didn't enjoy lol. Time heals the wounds though right? And so I suppose this process is giving me one spiritual enema after another so soon my Christian colon will be totally cleansed!!!!! (Ewww.....)

@tornapart - Please let me know if your son sees them- that would be great!

@cantleave - Yeah for some it might as well be literal...uh oh that path is leading towards the kleenex again and thoughts of our dear Brother Oompa. But that's okay too. We honor him and his memory and he will not be forgotten. These online monuments will stand for who knows how many years as proof and documentation of what happened in this "JW dark age".

@JWB - Such a great point- THANK YOU. Idk why I missed that point about Paul being an apostate, that's really good.

@hotchocolate - I appreciate you saying that. I know that many here are not "Christian" anymore, and that's okay. We each have to find our path and stand on our own using the faith we have left- whether it is through science, ourselves, our friends, the Bible, Buddha or whatever works for us personally.

@wannabefree - The seeds are in their minds they have heard at least a little of our arguments and cannot say they never knew.

I really liked what you said about the thin veneer of love JWs have, it is so true. You handled yourself so well, very composed, and held your own.

Thanks for posting this - very interesting. You did a great job of standing up to the kangaroo court.

Was there a meeting going on in the background? I heard singing and a hubbub. Could that have been indiscreet on the part of the elders?

Eric, I cannot divulge alot of information about this, but I want you to know that these videos are currently helping someone to see TTATT. I don't think you know how important this actually was. You are directly responsible for helping someone to finally open their eyes and see.

If you ever feel frustrated that you cannot help enough, please know that what you have done is absolutely changing someone's life. If you want more info, pm me. But I just have to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU and God bless you, Eric!!!

Ray-I do have a question. You said the elders were not aware of this video as far as you know, but have you received any feedback from the borg itself?

Just finished the video and there are a few comments I want to make.

Eric, you said to your friend in the parking lot that you didn't think you did a good job. I honestly for the life of me can't think of anything you could have done better. It was absolutely perfect. The Holy Spirit was working with you and it was absolutely obvious.

Your prayer at the end was beautiful. They tried to stop you at first, but you did it and it was great.

I think most of us would have gotten worked up and angry. But you held it all together and approached them with TRUE Christian love. I just can't tell you how proud I am of you!
