My father was given guns and rifles by Bethel leaders during Rutherford's time. He also was a bodyguard to Knorr but the firearms were during Rutherford. He was very conscious that the Witnesses said one thing and did another. Those were very bad times for Witnesses. Made worse by their beligerance.
