It's really weird that so many people have left this board because they claim it was a manipulative and inflammatory place to be.

Now it's all great posts, good content and no quarreling here at JW-D. There's something here that I can't quite get my head around, hmmm, I wonder what I'm missing........?

    Englishman,

I am never disappointed when I read your posts. From the moment I first stepped fingers in this place you have cracked me up. I'm so glad that people like you, who bring a smile to my face, are still here.

As for the ones who have left...........well, can't really say I looked forward to their posts that much. And I hope they have found a forum that bests meets their needs.

I have been wondering if there is some weird stuff going on in chat. I rarely go there and the threads have been so normal lately I can't figure it out either.

Glad the rest of you are still here (((())))

I checked over on a new board and saw some familiar names posting over there. All very sedate.

Then I look back 'home' here and everything is beautiful.

It must say something about human nature, I suppose.

Anyhow, this seems a perfect occasion to say "I'm glad to be here!"

Greetings and much affection from the land downunder.

The answer is simple - Simon has assimilated us into the NEW BORG where everyone will in time contribute to the metaconcert. ;) (reference to Julian May's great books)

Seriously, the lighter mood here of late has been refreshing.
