I do on a regular basis, both because of where I live, and because of what I do for a living. Most celebrities I've met are assholes, but there are exceptions to that rule. Because I've been doing what I do for years, I do not get excited about meeting any celebrities.

Here's a funny one. I was in line at a local Jamba Juice with my daughter, standing behind a tall gentleman with a familiar-looking bald spot and two kids (boys). I sat there, wondering where I'd seen that bald spot before. I sudddenly realized that it was Pete Sampras, with his kids, in line in front of me. It was entertaining to me, but I didn't bother him or engage in any conduct that would indicate that I knew who he was. We both went our way, and a few minutes later, i told my daughter who the tall guy with the bald spot was.

Pete Sampras has put on some muscle since his Wimbledon days, and looks better than he did when he was ranked number 1.

used to have morning coffee at a shop next door to the office supply store owned by George Lucas' dad. He was a character and nice fellow, we shared a table a couple of times.

Same coffee shop was a regular hang out for Kirby Hensley, the Universal Life church guy that would ordain anybody who sent in an application. It was all about a tax dodge and got a lot of publicity back then.

I used to work in the same department as Thelma Kulwicki, mother of 1992 Winston Cup winner, Alan Kulwicki. The Hooters car driver who died in a plane crash a year later. She had retired by the time his real fame came along.

Knew Lyle Alzado's (Raiders) cousin. Am a good friend of a cousin of Molly Ringwald and have a high school friend that's the cousin of Max Baer Jr. (son of the boxer and also The Beverly Hillbilly's Jethro). I guess that would make him related to the boxer as well. Both saw their famous cousins only once in their lives. Also knew the brother of a former Mr. Universe, but that's getting kind of obscure.

I used to work at a concert venue and met or at least said hi to a few artists. Used to go to the same gym as WWF (or was it WWE then) star Hercules Hernandez worked out at. Sometimes did sets with him. The woman co-star of the #1 radio show in the city also worked out there.

At the time, I was probably a little starstruck, but never wanted to bother them with any silly blather from a fan or pester them for autographs. I figure they deserve time to be themselves without dealing with the public.

As time has marched on, I'm less starstruck. I wouldn't say they're just like everyone else. They're usually richer and used to being the center of attention. So a bit stuck on themselves. But really, so many stars aren't anything special personality-wise. Good looks or an ability to sing or act doesn't make somebody a good person.

Went to HS with Fran Drescher and Ray Romano

If any "old timers" here remember the show "That's My Mama" , Theresa Merritt who played the mother lived around the corner from me.

Oh yeah, on seperate occasions, I hung out with both Mark Borchardt and Mike Shank, subjects of the documentary American Movie. These guys were exactly what you saw in American Movie. Never let the fame (such that it is/was) go to their heads.

Back in the 90's, when I would go work out in World Gym in Largo Florida, Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage

would always be in there working out and I would talk to Hulk about music and Harley Davidsons.

I would see Hulk Hogan all over Pinellas county, restaurants, night clubs, vitamin stores and he

    always said Hello.
