Hello 7starz. You have a very understanding and kind  'philosophy' of sorts about the organization, expressing it in an intelligent manner. You have realized TTATT for sometime so 'this' is not new to you - but actively participating in a forum is.

Welcome. I appreciated your observations and conclusions.  Sometimes - especially in the earlier stages of our quest for freedom - we become clearer about what we will no longer support such as rampant hypocrisy and mean-spiritedness than what we will actively support such as new affiliations and acquaintances. But each in its own time because manufactured urgency is never a recommended approach to doctrine and practice. All urgency does is elevate fear which is one of the very worst yardsticks for ascertaining what is and isn't truthful.

Hope to hear more from you!

    Hi, and welcome to JWD.

I love this quote by Walt Whitman,

“re-examine all you have been told in school or church or in any book, and dismiss whatever insults your own soul; and your very flesh shall be a great poem, and have the richest fluency, not only in its words, but in the silent lines of its lips and face, and between the lashes of your eyes, and in every motion and joint of your body."

If you like the flavour of this quote, look up "transcendentalism", and you will discover some great American philosophers,,, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and his colleagues and students, Walt Whitman, Henry David Thoreau, and others.  Their writings are real, and connected to humanity.  Philosophy - it will get you thinking!
