Two very very funny Scandinavian movies: Troll Hunter and Rare Exports, both available on Netflicks.

I always recommend that everyone read The Gift of Fear, by Gavin de Becker. You'll learn how to read other people, to tell who is manipulative, who is dangerous.

The Danish detective show, The Eagle. It has subtitles, very well done detective series.

Two books by the same author: Ring of Bright Water and The Rocks Remain. Yes, it's by the guy who owned the otters in Scotland. No, they're not children's books. They are autobiographical accounts by a wonderful writer. The Rocks Remain is very different from Ring of Bright Water, much darker.

That's all that comes to mind right now.

I really like Quantum's "Super Lysine Plus" ointment for healing any type of sore, including those nasty cracks you can get at the side of your mouth this time of year. Takes the pain away very quickly. I have used it on cracks in my fingers as well. It's not cheap but it works. My brain is numb from too much work so I can only do 1 recommendation today. Maybe I'll do another one some other time.

DermaTend

Had a few moles on my body. Worse one was in front of my ear, just under my hair. Nearly every time I went for a haircut they'd catch it on the clippers (even after warning them). Doctor quoted $400 to remove it.

A friend recommended DermaTend. At first I thought it looked like a scam.

DermaTend cost less than $100 and didn't even leave a scar. Doctor wanted to cut it out. I also removed three other moles on my face and neck with the same portion.

My sister also used it on her dog's ear to remove skin-tags. Worked great.

Is last resort on Netflix? I'm always looking for good shows. I'll look for it tonight.

Here is my list:

1. 11/22/63 by Stephen King. I still have a book hangover from this one. One of the best books I've read in a long time. Shows the consequences of changing the past....and not how you would think

2. Game of thrones. Greatest show ever. So addictive and deep.

3. Breaking bad. Extremely addictive. Make sure you have a day off and watch as many in a row as you can.

4. TED. I can spen hours watching some of the presentations. Netflix now has tons of Ted videos to watch.

5. Thepiratebay.org. Yeah....I know. But it's still awesome to get almost anything you want immediately

6. Dinner and movie theaters. Eat dinner and have drinks at the movies. Movie grills should have been popular years ago.

7. Eating as many different foods as possible. By going outside of my usual tastes, I've found many gems. My desire to do this started by watching bizarre foods on the travel channel. Foods I would never have tried are now some of my favorites. Motto: if it looks good...eat it.

Breaking Bad is one of my all-time Top 5 shows ever!

For me, it has already surpassed The Sopranos and Deadwood for excellence.

I have a real thing for the dysfunctional sister-in-law, by the way :)
