Not here. We have several sisters including wifes of appointed men who run classes.

I think, the concern probably might be with the association of others who are not part of them. Otherwise, it would mean all people are part of them. No exception. Needless to say, Iam surprised that to read that you 'have several sisters including wifes of appointed men who run classes.'

It's just an exercise class in everyone's opinion. Loads of sisters go.
I googled a couple of them and can PM links to official zumba profiles if you are really interested. I would post them here but given one of the sisters is in my congregation and the other is in the next cong it's a bit too close to home!

Send me a PM link. Thank you.

... depends ... if you are referring to naked zumba, then there might be a problem

The Guiding principle is this: Would Jesus do a Zumba Dance? Will I stumble my brothers and sisters? Would members of the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses participate in Zumba dance? I think, alot of JWs have been brainwashed to feel quilty like this way.

An elder might say something not on the dancing itself but rather on the tribal pagan music.
those drum beats are bound to conjure up evil spirits.
Sounds like Voodoo music

Finkelstein Yes, very true. They do not like to be direct as in called a spade a spade. They can use some excuses.
