The meetings are not worship services by any streach of the imagination. I didn't know what worship was until I visited various Christian Churches.

The meetings of Jehovah's Witnesses are directly related to "service". After 40 years you should know that. The meetings of JWs are designed to improve the individuals service to God. Each "Christian" should desire to do what Jesus' instructed at Matthew 28:19, 20. The meetings of JWs emphasize and help train one to fulfill that responsibility. Do those wonderful Churches you've attended do that?

You made my point for me. You called it true worship. Worship is not classroom work, and it's not knocking on doors. Secondly the borg does not respect truth. It distorts it, changes it, covers it up, and then expects all of its followers to march in tune. And yes, the Churches I visited (many different denominations) do train their members for ministry all over the world. They also help the poor and the sick. I was amazed, because I had been taught that jws were the only ones preaching worldwide. Wrong!!!!! There were a huge number of misconceptions I had about non witnesses.

I think for many JW this service is a very good thing who they realy enjoj.

First, I will say that I appreciate the effort that you must be out in trying to cummunicate using another language than what you're used to.

My purpose? I suppose I get a kick out of taunting Satan's dupes, even as he gets a kick out of taunting my God.

What do I think about Amazing? He's one of those "dupes".

If the WTS was the seat of true worship on the earth today, it would indeed be perfect and a perfection of the organization is not something you would have to wish for. The fact that it is so obviously imperfect despite its claims to the contrary is what gives rise to its enemies.

Another thought. The borg is so busy "training" its members to go from door to door, which in this day and age is the absolutely least efficient way to contact people. Why not use tv, or the internet (snicker) radio, etc. That is, if the real purpose is to reach people. Other churches use means that reach more people in an hour than witnesses reach in a month in all of North America. Of course, that would cost money.
