The whole lesson was designed for one reason. Here is paragraph 20:

1) God's will = GB's will
2) false hope and comfort = Education and retirement, helping those less fortunate.
3) strengthen resolve = Listen, obey and be blessed by the GB with the priviledge of donating financially.
