Thats a good question. On the one hand I feel the need to relate my experiences, but on the other hand I feel like I dont want to pour out my soul to a bunch of people who could give a care less. Oh well, too late.
The part underlined above might be an indication why you're having a rough time finding/,making friends.

StoneWall, thank you for your insight. How do you suggest I get past this? Do I just bare it all to jwnet to release myself? Of Course nobody asked me to come here, and nobody said that just because we were jws means we are automatically some sort of friends but ive lost alot and now im shattered so now what do i do? At this point it just feel like Im begging for human empathy, but once you have to beg for that, whats the point?

Today is much better, I was just complaining. Sorry if I made anyone feel like I was trolling for empathy. (I probably was a little).
Whats with the heads-up thing? It makes me feel like stonewall told talesin a secret about me. Have I been marked or something?

Rooster, I've been here just over a year now and I guess I felt pretty much the same as you. I notice some new ones jump in feet first and seem to make friends (or at least make themselves noticed) almost immediately. Just take it slowly, get to know people by reading their comments and add your own when you feel like it and you'll soon find the ones you seem to have something in common with. If you're like me it'll take a several months! LOL
