The trampling of Jerusalem didn't begin until AFTER Jesus died (easy way to prove WT waaaay off on everything)

The "Revelation" book is a gem in showing how they have absolutely no understanding of the book of Revelation. It's hard for all to understand because their explanations are ridiculous!

Page 162, when speaking about Revelation 11:2, it speaks of the holy city being tramped underfoot for 42 months. It's funny, because this scripture is the same trampling Jesus was speaking about that would begin when Jerusalem would be destroyed in 70AD. Yet the WT teaches it was from 1914 to 1918.

With the "NEW LIGHT", that there was no faithful slave until 1918 now, that is a double whammy now. If all religions were still being inspected and nobody selected until 1918, it wouldn't have been a holy city from 1914 to 1918.

They further twist things saying how things were shut down for that time. There was no standstill from 1914 to 1918. Infact when they released the Finished Mystery book, I know 10million copies were made and many of them placed. So no there was no literal 42 months of death for the WT, Rutherford and associates were jailed for 1 year, 1918 to 1919.

As you begin to understand bible prophecy, it's very easy to see how blind they truly are. They claim to let the bible interpret itself, yet they read one scripture and try to interpret that vs reading what the rest of the bible says on the matter.

Wow is that a lot of words, and being as long-winded as I am, it's weird that I'm saying that. I'm probably just very tired, is all.

This would be the part where a JW would try to jump away from these verses and you'd have to pin them down and say, look, where in the context here does it indicate that this is a continuation of Jerusalem being trampled on? Jesus says Jerusalem will be trampled by the nations, not will continue to be trampled.

There are just so many ways where the foundation for 1914 falls apart. From Daniel to Matthew to secular history, it's just so full of holes.

The ONLY thing that Russell got right (actually borrowed the idea) was the relocation of the Jews in their homeland, Israel, after 2000 years. Then Booze Jo came and changed that, claiming that the Bible verse was not a fulfillment for the natural Israel, but the "spiritual". In the confused mind of WT leaders everything has 2 meanings and fulfilments. So the entire idea changed and they tried to fullfil the scriptures upon them.

Unfortunately the State of Israel was formed, after the end of WWII, few years after the death of Jo. Since WT gave so much attention (that the Annointed class are the spiritual Israelites) they couldn't go back to their previous teaching, that eventually was correct. At the end of the day a false prophet is false, an evidence that they haven't got a future event correct yet, even though they had the change to show evidence of their "divine guidance", they failed once more by rejecting the relocation of Israel.
