once sedated she obviousky loses autonomy and capacity, her next of kin then becomes her representitive in desicions.

I get that. My point was that she had already made the decision before she was sedated, which should have made her husband's opinion moot.

Gene Smalley is pissed that this woman wasn't delivered as a sacrifice to Molech Jehovah. God is going to remove his spirit from that congregation until that woman is delivered as an offering.

I believe that we have seen this story before. i said at the time that I thought that the hospital were "trying it on", albeit in a laudable attempt to save her life.

"Her emotional husband told the court his wife had signed a document used by Jehovah's Witnesses, known as the Advanced Care Directive, "

If she signed the standard form then it was illogical that she would amend it in the way they say. She would either stand by it, or say to do anything.

I am glad if she gets better, but if one believes in an adult patients freedom to choose or refuse what happens to their body , it is not a good thing for personal liberty

"... it was one of their core beliefs not to accept primary blood components of red or white blood cells or plasma and platelets..."

Until one of the GB needs a primary component, then it will be a core belief that it's a conscience matter.
